General Montgomery Day

We hope you will enjoy visiting our quaint village for this year's General Montgomery Day. With over 30,000 attendees expected, this year's celebration is sure to please.
Now in its 19th year, General Montgomery Day has become known for fun events, a terrific parade, the General Montgomery Day 8K, and an evening of fireworks.

Clinton Street, Wallkill Avenue, and Union Street (between 17K and Charles Street) will be closed for the entire day beginning at 6:30am. No overnight parking on these streets the night before.
There will be parking at the Valley Central High School (Rt 17K) with a shuttle bus service to the Village. There will also be parking at Veteran’s Memorial Park and at Strober Building Supply.
Notice to all village residents - There will be no yard sales or reserved parking on General Montgomery Day.
NO BACKPACKS OR COOLERS PLEASE.
